Edit LDAP entries

When an entry object in the browser is double clicked of newly created using the context menu, the Edit Dialog appears. Dependent on the objectClass, different high level editing tools will open in a notebook style control, with several pages for its properties. In any case, the very last page (or if no special objectClass is detected, as only page) is the Generic page which allows access to all objectClasses and attributes.

In the following example, a user is opened for editing. Admin4 detects inetOrgPerson as structuralObjectClass and opens the User Dialog for editing.

For each attribute, a field with human friendly labels and editing styles is generated.

Generic page

All attributes, including those that are already presented on a specifically designed page, can be edited. Changes performed here will be represented immediately in the specific page as well and vice versa.
